Razvan “Ross” Rentea MD

He is a Co-founder, President and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Lilly Kolisko Institute, a non-profit 501(c)3 institution. Ross Rentea has been a practicing Physician for over 40 years. He specializes in treating both chronic and acute illnesses in an integrative manner with emphasis on using anthroposophical remedies.

The Paulina Medical Clinic that he and his wife, Andrea Rentea MD, opened in Chicago, in 1983, enjoys a positive international reputation.

Ross graduated from the University of Chicago, Pritzker School of Medicine (1976), and after his residency in NYC spent five years in Europe studying anthroposophical/complementary medicine.

He is a member of the American College of Advancement in Medicine (ACAM) and a former Board member of the American College for Anthroposophic Medicine. He is a co-founder of the Illinois Homeopathic Medical Association. He is a member of the Anthroposophical Society. His additional activities include lectures, training seminars and workshops to professional and lay groups. He has published articles in peer reviewed medical journals. He is the principal author of a recently published book on childhood illnesses and immunizations. 

Following a long- standing interest in researching ways for creating new pharmaceutical quality natural remedies he co-founded the True Botanica Company and is its CEO, CSO and Chairman of the Board. The company goal is to create the most safe and effective full spectrum products possible that work harmoniously, on  body,  mind  and  spirit.  The formulas are designed by uniting the best in emerging modern nutritional technology with insights given by the scientist Rudolf Steiner, as well as by paying attention to today’s patient needs.

Mark Kamsler MD

He is a Co-Founder, Vice President, Treasurer and Member of the Board of Directors of the Kolisko Institute. 

He has been taking care of his patients for over 25 years as a  Board Certified Pediatrician.

He specializes in anthroposophical, holistic and natural medicine and enjoys a broad reputation with both in and out of state patients.

Dr. Kamsler is well known and sought after for his management of children with complex medical problems.

After graduating from the University of Michigan School of Medicine, and after his residency at the Mott Children’s Hospital he spent several years studying anthroposophical/complementary medicine while maintaining hospital privileges at the Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin. He has given major lectures and courses to lay and professional audiences.

He is a former Board member of the American College for Anthroposophic Medicine and is a member of the Anthroposophical Society. He has worked extensively as a consulting pediatrician to several Waldorf Schools and has been a sought after speaker by groups ranging from Birthing Centers and La Leche League to Grand Rounds at several hospitals.

Together with his colleague R. Rentea MD he has authored a recently published book on childhood illnesses and immunizations. 

Due to his enduring interest in establishing ways for creating new pharmaceutical quality natural  remedies,  Mark co-founded,  together  with  Ross  Rentea  MD  and Andrea Rentea MD, the True Botanica company.  Their goal is to create the most safe and effective full spectrum products possible that work harmoniously on body, mind and spirit. Andrea Rentea, MD

She is a Co-founder and Member of the Board of Directors of the non-profit Kolisko Institute for Anthroposophical Medicine.

She has been a practicing physician in Chicago for over 40 years.  specializing in anthroposophical, holistic and natural medicine. She is well known for her expertise in the treatment of women’s concerns and of pediatric patients. She consults frequently on difficult cases involving children with special behavioral or learning difficulties.

She co-founded the Paulina Medical Clinic with Ross Rentea MD in 1983 in Chicago. The clinic enjoys an international reputation.

She graduated from the Chicago Medical School, and after her residency at the University of Illinois spent five years in Europe studying anthroposophical/complementary medicine.

She is a co-founder of the Illinois Homeopathic Medical Association, and a member of the Anthroposophical Society. Her additional activities include lectures, training seminars and workshops to professional and lay groups.

She was awarded the “Compassionate Doctor” Award by the Gold Foundation.

Jeremy Klapper

 

Jeremy Klapper MD

Jeremy Klapper is a member of the Board of Directors of the Kolisko Institute. He is a medical doctor, having graduated from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. He has practiced general medicine, anthroposophical medicine, and most recently pathology, with a subspecialty in hematopathology. He is also a professional violinist and performed for five seasons with the Houston Symphony Orchestra.

Gordon Edwards

He is a Member of the Board of Directors of the Lilly Kolisko Institute for Anthroposophical Medicine. He is a Miami University (Ohio), graduate with B.S. degree, followed by service in the U.S. Navy: Commission through NROTC.; two years’ active duty as a shipboard line officer, 1955-57. Has been active in the corporate life specializing in IT applications to business uses. Employers included: IBM Corp.; Union Tank Car Co (TransUnion Corp.).; Arthur Andersen & Co. (management consulting division, now Accenture, Inc.). · Entrepreneurial career, 1977-95. Co-founder and president of an executive recruiting firm (Edwards and Sowers, Inc.) in Chicago. · Independent consultant, 1995-99. (Retired from business career since then.) · Current volunteer service: Member, Board of Directors, Mandaamin Institute. · Prior volunteer service: Member (and Chair), Board of Trustees, Rudolf Steiner College; Member (and Chair), Board of Directors, Anthroposophic Press, Inc. Philia Kelnhofer M.H.A

She is a Member of the Board of Directors of the Lilly Kolisko Institute. She completed a Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Management at Southern Illinois University, and earned a Masters of Healthcare Administration at Cornell University followed by an  Administrative Fellowship program with an emphasis on operations at the University of North Carolina Healthcare System in Chapel Hill. At that time, she conducted market analysis on the feasibility of adding new primary care clinics to their network and outfitted their new Cancer Hospital with environmentally friendly sanitation fixtures, with a $25 million dollar budget. Subsequently she accepted the position of Management Engineer at UNC where she was responsible for managing the operational efficiency of various units including: Orthopedics, GI, Urology, Vascular, Surgical Oncology and Family Medicine.

 Philia moved back to the Midwest in 2011 to work at the True Botanica company and volunteers at the Kolisko Institute. Since then, she “feels I have ‘found my home’ here”.

She is actively involved in marketing and outreach to professionals.

Malory Mueller M. Sc.

Malory is the Senior Technical Researcher at the Lilly Kolisko Institute.  She has a Bachelor’s degree in Molecular Biology and Bioinformatics and a Master of Science in Applied Molecular Biology, both from the University of Wisconsin-Parkside.  She was a student researcher for 6 years at UWP studying the enzyme ribonucleotide reductase in the Aedes aegypti mosquito.  She also worked at the Medical College of Wisconsin in the Biophysics department for 2 years looking at the mechanism of LPS transport across the periplasm of gram-negative bacteria.

Currently she is working with the mouse myeloma cell line SP2/0 and determining optimal growth conditions alone and in the presence of arsenicum.  Once optimal conditions have been established, she can use ultra-high dilutions of different synthetic and non-synthetic compounds to study their effects on cell growth and development.
