Annual Workshop: Therapeutic Aspects as They Relate to the Zodiac
Registration limited to 25 participants!
October 15-18, 2015
Hartland, Wisconsin
Throughout the day and the year different impulses coming from the zodiac affect our spiritual and physical life.
How can we find the right substances, the right movements and the right attitudes in order to be in harmony with these impulses and strengthen our health or heal therapeutically that which is “dis-eased”?
Rudolf Steiner gives valuable indications that are not just meant to be “known” but rather are given in the expectation that we would PRACTICE and apply them in our daily lives.
This is what will guide us then:
More learning and discovering, more practice, more applying.
There will be ample new material this year that we have not looked at before.
As always, we will present new research that we have engaged in during the last year, but emphasis will be placed on practicing and working together as a group.
The work will be centered on the so called 12 Moods that R. Steiner gave in 1915. The anniversary of one hundred years since these indications were given makes it particularly timely that we concern ourselves with these topics. His thoughts will lead us to look at the astronomy, the substances and of course the eurythmy that is associated with the zodiac.
Even though we mentioned this already last year let us say it again: A lot less is known about Rudolf Steiner’s insights into the constellations of the zodiac than is known about his insights on the planets. Not surprisingly then, practical work with the constellations of the zodiac is not given its full due. And yet, the consciousness of the zodiac is crucial for both a general living of anthroposophy as well as for a practice of anthroposophic hygiene and therapy.
This year we will also discuss certain aspects of how to distinguish between activities related to the zodiac and those related more to the planetary spheres.
Many of our anthroposophic friends have expressed the desire to go more deeply into this topic.
It is out of these considerations that we have decided to limit the number of participants.
Attendance open to all but prior knowledge of anthroposophy is required.
Additional workshop details will be sent later to registered participants.
This promises to be a very real “immersion into the topic” weekend.
Hope that you can join us.
